If you could sit and have a coffee/tea/beer/hot cocoa with any fictional character, who would you choose?
Why them?
What would you ask them?
In answer to my own question, there are so many folks I’d love to sit and have a drink with…who to choose…
One person would be Sylvia Compson, from the ‘Quilter’s Apprentice’ series. I’m not sure if I would ask quilting questions first (I love handmade quilts!) or questions about her family’s history!

I would like to sit down and have a scotch with former Presidential Candidate Ron Burgundy.
I would like to know what positions he is up for in the new Trump administration.

Rooster Cogburn portrayed by John Wayne in TRUE GRIT. Why, because that is the man I married who could have spun the rifle, held the reigns in his teeth, and defeated the group of villains. I would ask Rooster if John Wayne was so right for the part because he was like the character in real life.

I responded to a similar question at Granny Annie’s blog a while ago.
I would so love to be able to sit down with the Ents. No immediate questions, just revelling in the peace of old growth.
And I would like to have a drink (of some description) with rather a lot of other characters. And authors.

Yeah, I don’t think I have enough patience for a chat with Ents, but they would definitely be peaceful companions!

Fictional character? That’s a hard one. Maybe Jack Reacher, from the series written by Lee Child; or Harry Dresden, from the series written by Jim Butcher. Although I’d prefer to sit and ask questions with the authors.

I would love to sit down with either Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot. I love the way their fictional minds work and would just love to sit and listen to them think through a conundrum.
